How the world has changed since I started working on the web. From websites built in Microsoft Frontpage (with frames!) back in the day to CMSs like Wordpress and Hubspot integration… it’s a whole new world. PNG, JPG and GIF (hard-G) files haven’t changed… but damn the advent of WebP! But even so, things do change… where once web images had loads of text on them, now it’s more about just the image… and let the social media platform carry the load of explaining the context. The people reading the messages haven’t changed though… and ultimately, however you’re doing it online, it’s not fundamentally different from the print of yesteryear… you’re communicating with your public… even if you can micro-target recipients now.
