Trade Show & 3D Design
The roots of the 3D actually stretch back to 1997 when I found Macromedia Extreme 3D as part of the Director bundle. I learned it in my off hours, and 50 Carleton put it to use and then upgraded to 3D Studio Max, as it was known at the time. Fast forward 15 years after drifting out of it, and I discovered Google Sketchup, a free, lower-end resource I put to work developing 3D sets and models for my Atlantic graphic novel posters and concept art. You can see some of the models created for Atlantic in the pieces posted.
