Custom Photography

I call them “action shots”, some people call them “hero shots”. Whatever you call them, being able to show gloves in action does wonders to help sell them to customers. When you can’t get a budget to get a proper photo shoot together, you adapt… using props, I often end up being the one wearing the gloves, phone or camera on a timer on a tripod, cutting out from backgrounds, layering stock photos and other visual elements, adding shadows, balancing lighting… so many things go into making a convincing illusion. Sometimes an action shot isn’t a full image – sometimes it’s just an isolated image with a prop that highlights what it’s for and really gives you an idea of the textures.
