Continuing Education
Back in 2020 I took advantage of the opportunity to extend my education at George Brown College in their Social Media Marketing course. I couldn’t possibly cover everything I learned or developed for my assignments in my blogs, and why would I? There’s going to be a lot of flotsam and jetsam in there. However… because I used Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Sudbury as my focal point for most of the assignments, it meant that I actually had the chance to develop some real world usable material for the agency.
This set was from the Content Strategy class, wherein I had to utilize “a colour palette, filter, quality and lighting style, and create three posts to share on one of your feeds”.
So, I took some ads I’d already developed (or under-developed, as the case was), which utilized photo assets from the calendars I’d created a few years prior, and reworked them, putting more care into the imagery and expanding the colour palette some to utilize colours more specifically from the brand book.
